Cookie Policy

How DataNova Consulting FZCO uses cookies and similar technologies on https://nova.datanovalabs.com, and how you control them.

Last updated: August 2026 · Consent policy version 2026-08-03.1

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, for example to hold authentication session state in the Nova portal. In this policy, “cookies” covers all such technologies.

2. Your consent choices

When you first visit this site, we show a consent banner. Optional cookies are off by default and are only set after you actively opt in. Closing the banner, scrolling, or continuing to browse is not treated as consent. You can:

  • Accept all optional cookies,
  • Reject all optional cookies, or
  • Choose per purpose under Manage preferences.

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or the button below. If you withdraw consent for a category, we stop the associated technologies and delete the related first-party cookies we can access.

3. Categories of cookies we use

CategoryPurposeConsent

AdvertisingMeasuring whether our advertising campaigns (for example on Google and Microsoft networks) lead to actions such as starting a Nova trial. Used for conversion measurement, not personalised advertising. Includes services such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, and similar measurement services we may use from time to time.Opt-in only

4. Third-party providers

Optional analytics and advertising technologies are provided by third parties, currently including Google and Microsoft. These providers may set their own cookies when you have opted in, and process the resulting data under their own privacy terms:

If we add or change providers, or introduce a new purpose, we will update this policy, increase the consent policy version, and ask for your consent again before any new optional technology is used. Separately, Microsoft login flows may set strictly necessary cookies on login.microsoftonline.com when you authenticate, and Stripe may set cookies during checkout on billing pages.

5. Cookie and storage inventory

The table below lists the cookies and similar storage used on this site. Optional entries appear only after you opt in to the relevant category. Providers occasionally change their cookie names and lifetimes; we keep this table aligned with observed behaviour and update it when providers or purposes change.

6. How your choice is stored

Your decision is stored in a first-party cookie named nova_cookie_consent for up to six months. It contains only your choices, the date you decided, and the policy version — never an identifier about you. When it expires, or when the policy version changes, we ask again.

7. Managing cookies in your browser

In addition to our Cookie settings control, you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in to the Nova portal.
